In the footsteps of Marco Polo

I just watched the documentary of two guys who traveled for two years following Marco Polo's journey from Venice to China and back.

What they did was amazing. But I kept thinking as I watched... where did they get the money?

Sometimes its hard to talk about things because you and the person you're talking with are just going in completely different directions and just not understanding each other. Sometimes, one is too opinionated and not willing to listen. And some just like to jump to conclusions really fast because it makes them sound smarter.

I just wanted to talk.

Pickled Things

I don't know where I developed this but I looooooove pickled foods.

My favorite has to be cornichons -- small pickles that I had in paris that was served with dry-cured meat, I get them at whole foods every now and then.

Then my second favorite is a tie between dill pickles and kim chi. thinking about this is making my mouth water.

And third, balsamic vinegar, I can almost drink that stuff.
